Show What You Built. Together.
The Wrench Yard is the DIY build contest at Backcountry Offroad Expo. It is a dedicated area of the show where people who built out their own vehicles park together and share what they created.
If you designed and built your van, truck, camper, or trailer yourself, this is the place to show it. Full interior conversions, electrical systems, storage setups, custom layouts, fabrication, and the hundreds of little decisions that turn an empty vehicle into something you can actually travel in.
All vehicles in the contest are displayed together in the Wrench Yard inside the expo so attendees can walk through the area, check out the builds, and vote for their favorites.
This is not about the most expensive build. It is about creativity, smart design, and the work that goes into building something yourself.
